Thomas Emrick (Fall 1959)

Thomas Richard, "Tom" Emrick 61, of Whitestown, died December 1, 2003 at Witham Hospital in Lebanon.

He graduated from Arsenal Technical High School in 1959 and Purdue University.

He had resided in the Whitestown community since 1969. He spent most of his career (1965-1991) as a technical illustrator at Howard W. Sams Publishing Company in Indianapolis. He then spent a period at Culver Academies as the Director of Publications before he retired in 2000.

Mr. Emrick was a member of Whitestown United Methodist Church. Rev. Tamyra R. Seaver will conduct a service at 10:30 a.m. on December 5 at Myers Chapel of Memories, Lebanon, where visitation is planned for December 4 from 3 to 7 p.m. Interment will be at Crown Hill Cemetery, Indianapolis.

Survivors include his wife, Mary (Wagoner) Emrick; a son, Timothy E. Emrick; a daughter, Carol N. Emmert; four brothers, Harold "Hal", Charles "Charlie", David "Dave" and Robert Emrick; a sister, Elizabeth "Betsy" Brodie; and two granddaughters, Emily L. and Arlene R. Emmert.
